HOW DO WE RUN THINGS?
Membership is open to all, regardless of background. Membership decisions are based on talent, skill progression, attendance, and behavior. The coaching staff can dismiss members for inappropriate conduct.
ADA has two seasons—winter and summer—with practice locations and schedules. Practice groups range from beginner to elite, with training on one- and three-meter boards.
Competitions range from local to regional and national levels, with travel often required. ADA is not affiliated with high schools. Participation is at the discretion of the coaching staff.
Monthly statements include coaching fees due by the 15th, with late fees and check return charges. Family discounts apply, and fees vary by group and frequency. The lesson program uses 4-week sessions with a registration fee.
WHAT ARE THE RULES?
Our rulebook is an essential resource, ensuring a safe and organized diving experience. It outlines membership, practice, competition, and financial policies. With clearly defined guidelines, divers and parents can navigate our programs effectively. Keep the rulebook handy to stay informed and make the most of your ADA journey.
The Lesson Program is an introduction to competitive diving, focusing on fun and safety. It offers three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced, with practice on one- and three-meter boards, depending on location.
The High School Program welcomes middle and high school divers, aiming for dual and championship meets. The goal is to qualify for the High School State Championship Meet, with a focus on one-meter board practices.
Open to qualified divers, these programs prepare participants for full United States diving lists on one- and three-meter boards. Divers compete in state, regional, and zone competitions. Year-round commitment with monthly billing, mandatory training, and encouraged meeting attendance.
